Dr. Jennifer Kunkel
I am originally from the Texas Hill Country and moved to Needville in 1992. In 2000, I graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). In 2001, I started my own practice, Needville Family Dentistry, on Hwy 36 in Needville.
I love what I do! I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society. I enjoy attending continuing education classes around the country to improve my knowledge and skills and to keep up with the ever-changing and growing field of dentistry.
I have a wonderful husband, Cory, and five amazing adult children, Taylor and her husband, Jarrod, Cortney, Kate, and Cody. I actively participate in the First Baptist Church of Needville, as a board member at First Academy preschool, and work with both youth and missions. When I am not at work, I love to spend time with my family traveling, hiking, snow skiing, or just hanging out.
In 2019, I had an amazing opportunity to travel to Kampala, Uganda and serve the people by providing services and education to the families of children with special needs through Hope Speaks. HopeSpeaks.org is a wonderful non-profit organization that reaches the underserved areas of Kampala with speech pathology assistance and training. It was an eye-opening and life-changing experience, and I hope to go back soon!
